Audiobooks

I honed my narration and characterization skills with Pat Fraley through a 2-day audiobook workshop in 2009, and have continued to brush up on advanced skills through several smaller workshops since then. My solid foundation of skills and ability to apply them to a variety of genres has led to me recording over 30 books from my exceptional home studio in Phoenix, AZ. My voice and energy are a natural fit for Young Adult and Personal Growth genres, and I'm a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, YA fiction and sarcastic memoirs. I'm also available to travel to read in your preferred studio out of state.

Reviews

The Gift by Lauraine Snelling

(Audiofile Dec 2012) "... Arielle DeLisle smoothly transitions between the gruff voice of Mac, the soft, lilting voice of Rebecca, and, ultimately, the tender voice of her son. This simple yet powerful tale of faith and the healing power of love is an enjoyable listen."

Sisters in Mystery by Al Sarrantonio

(Audiofile Aug 2012) "... Arielle DeLisle’s skill and versatility convey colorful sketches of Meg, the mystery lover; Biz, the brainy computer whiz; and sisters Ames and Josie, who demand payment for any involvement in the investigation. DeLisle captures the tension and emotional pitch when Meg and Biz question [the movie producer]. DeLisle differentiates the girls by pitch, accent, and tone, making it easy for young listeners to keep track of each character."

Off the Menu by Stacey Ballis

(Audiofile Dec 2012) "Arielle DeLisle’s high-spirited narration perfectly embodies the voice of protagonist Alana Ostermann, who holds a demanding but thankless job as executive assistant to celebrity chef Patrick Conlon. DeLisle’s peppy exuberance brings out the chaotic pace of Alana’s life and her humorous struggles to keep her work from taking over her personal life..."
